Lunar is a software project built with lua, golang, interpreter, listed on Viber's Vault, a community directory of vibe-coded and AI-assisted software. It is available at github.com.
A complete Lua 5.1 runtime in pure Go. Lunar gives you a compiler, VM and standard library for embedding Lua scripting inside Go applications — with no cgo, no C toolchain and no native module loading. It targets full Lua 5.1 compatibility plus 5.2-style goto and labels, and supports coroutines, weak tables, finalizers and precompiled binary chunks. Security is opt-in by design: the core libraries are safe by default, while IO, OS and debug access must be explicitly enabled. MIT licensed.
